Your donation will finance the creation of a free and user-friendly online database of all extant publications related to preservation economics ("presonomics"). This innovative database will arm preservation-minded governments and nonprofits with pertinent presonomics research and case studies that can persuade policymakers and the public to preserve our built heritage---because it makes sense economically.

1904 Coweta County Courthouse. Coweta County has been a popular filming site, used in such films and tv shows as The Walking Dead, Footloose, Fried Green Tomatoes, Driving Miss Daisy, and Drop Dead Diva.

The Presonomics team will also cull the database to create pamphlets, one-pagers, videos, and other ready-to-use educational materials that you can use for your own preservation purposes. Our readymade materials will be easily customizable to fit the needs of your specific project. If you need more details on rural presonomics, just click a button and drop that in. Or if you want to focus on heritage tourism, then you can do that too. Perhaps most effective, you will be able to reference studies that have analyzed presonomics in your particular city or state.

How much easier will it be to promote preservation when you can point to one database that centralizes all studies and facts about the economic benefits of historic preservation?
