One-of-a-kind audio interview show launches September 9th
We are thrilled to announce the unveiling of our latest venture---a new podcast called HiFi History!
Set to launch on Wednesday, September 9th, HiFi History showcases fascinating preservation-related interviews between our host, Clint Tankersley, and special guests who are experts in their fields. Each episode will run about one hour with a new episode to be released every Wednesday until the season ends. This pilot season spans 12 episodes in 12 weeks, covering a wide range of topics, including:
- using social media to save places
- private sector archaeology
- Millennial engagement in preservation
- saving places in underrepresented communities
- the importance of historic places to the film industry
- international perspectives on preservation
- lobbying legislators for preservation
- a developer's perspective on preservation
- ...AND MORE!
Our aim for HiFi History is to focus on pressing issues and innovations in the arena of cultural heritage conservation (aka historic preservation). Yet, our ultimate goal at HiFi History (and Presonomics) is to improve individual lives and communities by saving historic places.
We are not about saving history for history's sake. Instead, we take a broad view of the heritage conservation movement to bring to bear the best ideas and innovations from all sectors. We hope you enjoy our holistic approach to historic preservation as you listen to the wide-ranging topics covered by the experts we interview in our pilot season of HiFi History.
